How fast have you gone in your 3IS?

I can Neither Confirm nor Deny...
147... Didn't feel like pushing it any longer to see if that was the limit but the speed hovered there and didn't climb for about 5 Seconds.
There is NO WAY I would do this under any "Normal" driving conditions (i.e. normal commute, California Freeway, or city streets)
There was a Road Trip recently and 600 Miles of Desert Road gives you a good little Opportunity to get going before 6am

102 in is350 f sport. Done it a few times having to pass some asshat on the interstate.
Also, it's not like I set out to see it hit 100. I don't watch the dash when I'm passing people, I watch the road. Just happened to look down after making the pass and saw the speed.
I now see where all the hp is at. It may not be geared for speed at low speed, seems to like high speeds instead.
Plus, no one should be camping in the passing lane anyways. They need to make their pass and get over. No, I'm not one of those dudebros maintaining 85 in the passing lane either. Just tend to floor it when someone needs passing.

This is the fastest I have gone till the speed limiter kicked in. It really feels like the car can go much faster without the limiter.
I have heard that removing the limiter is not safe because the factory parts will certainly not be able to handle any higher speeds.

I think it was 6th. I couldnt pay attention to it at that time. I really felt like sixth because the speed was steadily climbing and suddenly stopped at 242kph. It wasnt even max rpm. Another time I reached 215kph, I had it in sport mode. The gear was in 6th, I remember. So im mostly sure that top speed is also in 6th. I have the rwd model. So 8 gears.
