Default 2013 ML vs 2014 ML Sterep

I had 2nd gen and now 3rd gen. Seems to me the ML stereo on 2nd gen sounds better than the 3rd gen. This is off especially since the 3rd gen has more wattage and an extra speaker compared to 2nd gen.

Or could be that 3rd gen speakers have not been broken in since car is still new?

Do others notice sound difference?

Have you listened to it without the surround setting on? That really mess up the sound.

Speakers definitely need to be broken in for about 3 hours. Then it should get better. Its definitely much more clearer than the 2is system
