12 days after my car arrived at Portland port my sales guy confirmed that it's finally on the rail heading for MN. His new estimate for me to pick up is 12/30 but I'm really really hoping I can still pick it up by Friday of next week. There was no good explanation as to why it too so long to get it on rail other than sales guy said it's been this way for few weeks for all the stuff coming on rail to them.
I'm off work two weeks starting 12/23 and was really hoping to have it by 12/23.....
No. I actually removed all port installed options like wheel locks, trunk mat, PPF & cargo net.
Glad to hear you car is on its way. By the way, I did not order any port installed options you described above either. However, they put them on anyway at the port, apparently taking time. Of course I did not pay for same as I did not order them. In fact, the dealer did not even broach the subject.

That's interesting they would just install these regardless of you ordered it not! I wish I would have known since I ordered trunk mat, wheel locks, cargo net and all season mats from SewellParts.com and they arrived few days ago.

Same here. No PIO ordered by me either. I had been looking at the wheel locks, trunk mat, and net online, but decided to wait. Good thing, as my car had all of that stuff installed. The salesperson only mentioned it to tell me about how to order a new wheel lock if I were to misplace the one currently in the car. That was a nice surprise. I doubt it held up anything though. But who knows. It still took a week and a half to get from the port at Jacksonville, FL to the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.

Yeah, I'm glad I got the wheel locks and the net. I could have done without the bumper applique. I ordered custom mats, including a cargo mat from cocomats.com, so now I have an extra one. But hey, don't look a gift wheel lock and net in the mouth, right?

I know I wouldn't say no. I'm more concerned about what other hidden fees they are going to try and tack on. Did you have any of that sort?
So no document fee, dealer fees ects? Just car, tax and license fees?
To me those items you listed are not hidden fees. You know all of that when you sign the purchase agreement. There is a line on my purchase agreement for all of those items that was populated prior to me signing in August. The only thing that changed at delivery was the tax and license fee lines. And that was because I originally was going to trade a car. That would have made both the taxes and license fees lower.

That's the thing with me, only things they discussed with me is the price of the car before they took my deposit. No official purchase agreement was provided to me other than agreeing to $3500 below msrp for the car. Now I will also get LFS rebate of $750 if I stay with that for 30 days. Besides these they have not stated anything else, oh other than I do have to pay for destination fee of $910.
Just for my reference what were those fees on your purchase?
You should see if you can get preapproved. I was going to go with Lexus Finance and get the $750, but they couldn't beat my banks rate. It was way lower so I went through the bank instead.
