Default IS250 Good Deal?

Hi,
I was offered $43.576.15 for this build:
- IS250 F-Sport
- Ultra White/Rioja Red
- Nav w/ ML
- Blind Spot Monitor
- Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, Rear Bumper Applique, Wheel Locks

Could someone tell me if this is a good deal or not?
I'm new to car buying... so any opinion is welcomed!

Thank you all!

Not necessarily a good deal. For less than $2000 more, I got into a 350F Sport rwd. Only option was BSM, and I didn't get a particularly good deal based on what I've read in this forum. I'm sure you can do better than I did.

Being in CA, you have advantages I don't enjoy in Nevada: competition and choice. Document fees (translation: dealer profit) are $700. Tags here are another $600, give or take. The two Las Vegas dealers are owned by the same company, so there's no competition, and consequently no significant discounts.

You might want to consider the 350 b/c you're almost there, price-wise. I'd keep looking.

Why don't you check this thread?
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...250-350-a.html

It can help you figure out what people are paying for their 3IS's.

I don't think that's a good deal. Keep looking and since you're new to car buying, don't be afraid to say no and have dealerships compete for your business.

Thank you UncleSpud and Sh1nra.
The MSRP before any tax/fee is $44,128.00, and they gave me $39,900 after talking to them a bit...so I thought it's a good deal.. haha , but apparently not.
They told me that this IS will be a special order because of the ML package in an IS250...

I haven't stepped into any dealership yet, because I'm seriously horrible at bargaining...
Kind of stuck here..

There are car buying services that will do the negotiating for you. There's also truecar.com, which can save you some money assuming you can find a participating Lexus dealer.

Can't stress the IS350 strongly enough if your wallet can accommodate it.

With the same options, The cheapest price on TrueCar is $40,378 before taxes/fees. ($3,422 below MSRP)

My goal is around 40k OTD, but it seems pretty impossible... I know the 350 would be a better choice, but I don't have the extra money to do so.
If I go for the 350 though, would this same price this dealership gave me way too ridiculously low for it? $43,576 OTD?

Sorry for all these newbie questions. Thanks so much for helping guys!

Look into an auto broker. You don't have to negotiate and you'll get a fair deal without wasting hours in the dealership. I've bought/leased our last 5-6 cars through a broker and have not been disappointed.

I paid about $1,100 over invoice for my 3IS in July when inventories were tight. A couple of emails and 10 minutes of paperwork and it was all done.

I see.
I'll look into an auto broker as well.

I found that the invoice price for the build I want is $41,278 from truecar.com
Assuming I'll be paying 10% for taxes/fees (8% sales tax from where I live), I'll still be paying $43,775 OTD.
So... wouldn't the deal I got from this dealership ($43,576 OTD) be pretty good?

Is asking for $41K OTD be too much to ask with this build?
- IS250 F-Sport Ultra White/Rioja Red
- Nav w/ ML
- Blind Spot Monitor
- Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, Rear Bumper Applique, Wheel Locks

Sorry I'm a bit confused about the numbers.

I don't know too much about negotiating for the 3IS since I did the negotiating for my families 3Rx recently. But reading through the thread of how much people paid for a 250/350,

It was good because I got the 1.9% APR as well.

MSRP: $48,148
I got it for $42,495 - $1,000 College Grad Rebate = $41,495.

6.6k off MSRP

Here's some post I found searching through the thread about what some people are paying in cali. So I'm sure you can find a good deal out there somewhere, it's just takes a lot of patience.
Instead of talking over the phone, send out emails to different dealers stating your interest. Contact multiple salesman in each dealer, each will have a different offer. Then you tell them this dealer is offering it for this much and have them email you quotes.
If you don't want to deal with the hassle, and you're a member of costco, they have an auto buying program that can help you.

Hey Sh1nra, thanks for the info!
I have been contacting several dealerships (7 so far) via email. I feel more comfortable expressing what I need over email than phone. But somehow the lowest I've gotten is the number I had in my original post for an IS250... which is about 43K OTD...

The guy with 6.6K off MSRP and paid $42K OTD for an IS350 was a steal... wow...

I do have Costco membership, but when I went through the auto program online, the dealership just started calling me like crazy.
