Many of the Infotainemnt system's features are disabled at speeds higher than like 15 mph. What gives? Is there any way to disable or "hack" this?

 

It's pretty awful. Also difficult making a phone call, which defats the purpose of 'hands free driving'.

 

There is no official way to disable this for safety reasons. Use voice control.

 

Sadly the voice control is absolutely terrible, too. I've tried using it probably 10-12 times and not once have I been successful getting it to do what I'm asking. I even say exactly what it shows as examples and STILL it won't recognize any of my commands. I speak pretty clearly and have no accent...

 

Dude yes this has to be one of the worst voice control systems i've experienced.

 

By the way, somebody from the "look what I just got" thread posted that he purchased this:

its a device that bypasses Nav system control lock that comes on at a certain speed. I haven't heard of anybody successfully installing it yet.
