That's the one, wish they had pictures of how it was installed or how it looks.
So my guess is the user runs it off his mobile device.
Taking in consideration that Viper requires an annual too.

FYI I have spoken to Lexus about this today and they tell me its not compatible, despite being listed as such on their website.
they referred me to my lexus dealer and my parts guy is calling headquarters in LA supposed to get back to me with an answer. he is doing research based on my VIN to see if it will work.
ill let you know as soon as I know something.

That's what I said from the beginning... we're going in circles.

my dealer just called, they confirmed the RES+ is NOT compatible with Nav equipped vehicles. I was told to contact lexus at 1-800-25 lexus which is the same number I already tried this morning.
I would really like to know what exactly doesn't work on the nav equipped vehicles and why.
so if anyone can shed light on that I would like to know.
also I want to know why Lexus shows it compatible on their website.

Yep. It works via Smart Phone and it doesn't have distance limit. It's basically same thing as RES+. I also will be gettting the credit card key so smart phone usage will be idea for me and won't have to carry any keys. One strange thing is I contacted Viper about compatibility with 2014 IS and they told me it's not confirmed yet even though user in that thread has it installed and working.

Hello everyone, my first post here. I purchased my wife an ultra white/black f sport on 11/1/13. We ordered it with remote start and didn't know that it wasn't compatible with nav equipped cars until we took delivery. She is coming out of an Infiniti with remote start and it is a feature she really likes. Any update on if it will come available? My dealer says that it's coming next year and lexus customer service says that option is not available. Any update on the guys that have done it and it's worked?

Thanks,
Bhodge
