What Type of Gas Does People use on the 3IS..
 

I wonder what type of gas people use on the 3is

Premium Only, so in California, options are limited to 91 only... But my last car was the same so......

Premium - 91 here as well.

Tried 87 once and immediately felt the slight power loss. Been on 91 and sometimes 94 where I feel the best performance out of the engine.

What about the 89 ?? ( middle one)

I would just stick with whatever the factory recommends (Premium), since the difference in price is not worth using lower octane fuel.

But i used Regular once accidentally.
It felt a little bit less powerful..but it just could've been in my mind.

The fuel economy went down to 19 MPG, though.

93 bc there is no 91 octane option (@Sam's Club).

Premium even though I was told regular is perfectly fine lol
