Thumbs down Only very basic MP3s on the USB player

I was spoilt by the GROM player I added to my GS, even though it had some buglets and required an occasional reset.
It at least supported all the modern major MP3 variants and also OGG format. Over the last year or two I've been transcribing stuff into OGG format for the improved quality it gives. But the Lexus 3IS player doesn't support this so I'll have to run them through a converter. .. Not fair...

Anyone know how to save radio stations and satellite stations? On my other car, I just press and hold a button. Number 1-6.

Same way. Use the CCD (cursor control device) and highlight the preset number. Tune it where you want it. Then hold down the button.

Sorry, can't remember what Lexus calls it.

There is no substantive, objective definition for "modern major MP3 variants". This isn't truly a substantive concept. And OGG isn't an audio format per se, unless you are talking about VORBIS. No car manufacturer could reasonably be expected to support this fringe stuff. To criticize this car or any car on this basis is very pretentious.

Of course I'm talking about Orgg-Vorbis. Fortunately I've found a free converter. And of course, in the wider world , it IS widely supported.
