Default How much is everyone paying for insurance?

For the IS-350 I was quoted $1266 annually .

I was only paying $750 for my G35 coupe. I thought Sedan were less expensive?

There are too many factors to make comparisons. City, state, driving history, gender, age.

In my case, I'm paying $70 more over 12 months than an '09 IS. In my view, that's not an increase at all. It's a newer car, so it's naturally going to cost more than a 4 year old car to insure. You should compare to your last vehicle.

I had heard that the Lexus IS-F is the most expensive car to insure. I called my agent before buying the 2014 F-Sport, and she said the only factor was the price of the car. Apparently the F-Sport and the F aren't remotely the same for insurance agents either.

Replacement cost of the new IS is greater than the G35 and the older IS is one of the main factors for the spike. Age, City, State, etc all effect it as well.

Interestingly, within 50-75$ of my previous IS, CT, RX, current RX... - heck all the Lexus vehicles I've owned have been practically the same cost.

I was curious so I called my insurance and they quoted me $330/6mo with $250 comprehensive & $500 collision deductible. I think you should shop around.

Assuming you guys have good driving records, you could try getting a quote from Ameriprise. It'll be interesting to hear what they quote for you.

If any of you are military or former dependents of someone in the military, check USAA. Good rates, great service.

I'm paying $649.22 per year for the Lexus. I'm 47 and been with them for 29 years, so that probably helps. My insurance went up $12/year over the 2005 Mini Cooper S that the IS replaced.

About $850 from Geico. Checked out State Farm and they wanted about 2.5x as much.
