Default PCS and grimmspeed license plate relocation?

Has anyone in here, who has fitted the grimmspeed license plate relcoation kit, tried this with a car equipped with pre carsh system?

The user manual says that the sensor for the pcs is located besides the towing hook.
And if the sensor is blocked by any objects, it will not work.

The grimmspeed kit puts the license plate right in front of this sensor.
Anyone tried if it still works with a metal plate stuck right in front of it?

I think only owners in US that will do that would be F-Sport owners and most of the F-Sport models I saw here don't have the PCS. I'm getting it but I had to special order it and won't be here until some time in December.

I actually think Euro plates look ok on the grill at least better than US plates.
