How To Turn Of Seat Belt Alarm On 3IS???
Anyone know how to do this? I know it was pretty straight forward on the second gen...but can't get it working with the same process on my new car. Thanks.

Ok ok... lets just be nice... usually, the reason to turn off the stupid chime for the seatbelts is because sometimes you move the car from point A to point B a few feet away even with the door open, so there is no point to put on a seatbelt. It can become annoying...
I'll do some research, maybe we still have a chance to change it doing the weird combo of opening doors, put on seatbelt while holding down the trip button and then singing a song while holding down your cell phone on mute while pulling up your pants... etc etc.. you know what I mean lol
Otherwise, think about all the changes you want to make and once you have a list, go to the dealer and let them do the changes for free (only first time is free so make sure to write down everything you want them to change).

IMHO, the reason to disable it is because it goes off every time you put a backpack or briefcase on the passenger seat. Annoying the first couple of times, insane for the next few years after that

You should never put anything on the seat while driving. Put it on the floor or in the boot.

It's called "techstream" and they all come from china because they are illegally hacked software!
You will need an old 32bit windows laptop to run it as they don't run on any of the new 64 bit stuff.
Warning*
This is the same software the dealer uses to make changes to your car and you can really screw things up if you mess with the wrong settings. It's a hugely valuable diagnostic tool, but only if you are careful. I use it just for that purpose on all my Toyotas.
