Got CarCare now inside is too shiny
I purchased the car paint protectant and interior sealer stuff and now everything in my interior is shiny and greasy. Is this normal? Im thinking about taking it back tomorrow and having them remove this greasy stuff they put on every panel. It feels gross and looks odd
Please, never fall for these rip-off add-ons. They are high-profit gimmicks that do not have a purpose. It makes me so angry dealerships still abuse customers with bogus products that could even harm the car. At this point, I don't know whether it would be better to leave it on and just let it disappate on it's own, or try wiping it off with a clean, damp towel. At the very least, you are going to get an extra layer of dirt and dust sticking to the grease. Keep your windows up at all times to prevent the dust build-up.
In the future, factory finishes are tested and designed to last and do not need treatments.

As a detailer I have som advice for you on how to remove.
FIrst, get some interior soap or other soap (many household cleaning products do the job) that isn't to strong.
Second, get two buckets of water, two microfiber clothes, and a lint free towel.
The soap should desolve the residue from the products used previously.
If you don't succeed with the fist soap, try another.
If you have the uppertunity to buy some soap, my best bet for you would be meguairs all purpose cleaner.
Just use lots of soap, even more water, lots of "albow grease" and it should clean of.
One of the microfiber cloths is used to remove residue. One of the buckets is used to clean this cloth.
The other microfiber cltoch is used to remove any almost invisible left overs. And this clotch is cleaned with water from the other bucket. That way you don't get ressidue from the first bucket on to the areas you clean.
The lint free towel is to wipe the wet sufaces dry.
If the dash in the IS is upholstered with real leather, it is a wise idea to get an extra layer of leather milk after water is used to clean. That way, the leather won't dry out.
If it is just made of the fake napa leather, just leave it be after cleaning and drying.
