Looking good. I wrapped my mirror caps as well and am happy -- well i wrapped my CT mirror caps. Which are the same mirrors as on the IS. Glad you did the bases!

looks good! personally i think the car doesn’t look finished without the black bases
i agree. bases definitely need to be blacked out. always irks me when I see someone with un-blacked bases *cough*sheddy*cough* =D
Lexus does the from the factory with black bases on cars they do black mirrors on. So i try to copy what the manufacturer designers do.

Working slowly towards my black on black on black. Tinted front badge, tinted fogs, front grille chrome wrapped gloss black. Rear IS350 badge black out. Not sure what I think yet.
