Not a fan of pastidip, but the lower air dam vents look good. As for the headlights... meh

 

Do we know for sure if its Plasti-dip ??

Looks good except for the lights. They look like eye shadows lol.

 

Lol...yeah I'm a bit disappointed how this turned out. Though, I like the lower bumper piece.

 

Great and interesting picture. It makes the separation between the headlights and the DRL less obvious. Works on white, atomic silver/sonic titanium or silver lining. It will look weird on red or USB.

Plasti dip on the front grill - can it withstand some stone chips?

 

I for one like what was done w thw headlights. Bc I couldnt get over the whole seperate led look.

This 2014 IS350 F-Sport has 19" Five Axis S5:F wheels, lowered suspension, Trunk Spoiler, Painted Roof - Headlight areas - lower parts of Front Bumper, Caliper Logos and maybe more...

The new IS will be a great canvas for modifications.

 

Making the headlights appear larger is a put-down to the 3IS and a compliment to the 2IS. Why not just get a 2IS which already has this feature?
Lower body work makes the car look like a steam locomotive with a cow catcher. Unattractive.

Anybody who has used plastidip could tell you that's not plastidip. Why? All edges of the plastidip area need to bordered or follow a pre existing seam in order for the material to cling on and create its shape.

I was thinking about this mod last month...I would not consider this car in a lighter color without this mod...so i photoshopped this exact look...and realized the surrounding wouldn't line up properly, as you can see it doesn't. Then I also realized plastidip wouldnt work...and that eventually swayed me away from leasing and also ultra white. The way the bumper, headlight and hood meet requires some heavy duty fabrication work. You'd literally have to cut out the middle section and custom fab a new headlight housing w a custom tinted lens that covers the entire area....which is feasible, if you search the forum for some sc300 guy.
