I'm thinking an IS350 F-Sport fully loaded will be around $50k. About $10k less than the GS F-Sport.

Yeah I bet you won't see increases like this in the US. For one, if the ISh were sold here, it would likely come in slightly cheaper than the ESh.

I would say $50k is likely the target for a loaded IS350 F sport, with the loaded non F-Sport being either around there with dual tracking packages like the GS, or somewhere around $47k.

Keep in mind : Lexus cars are cheaper in the US compared to Japan. Shocking but true.

this is not possible at all.... loaded IS350, unless they limit the options for US market, will easily be $55k-60k, or $10k less than GS350.

They will limit the options for the US market, they always do.

A fully loaded GS350 depends on region. In my region, according to the Lexus.com configurator the loaded GS350 AWD is what I have, an MSRP of $59,520 (I have remote start so mine is $400 more).

Now, there is one more package above mine that has PCS, dynamic cruise, ML, HUD, LKA, etc, but that package is pretty rare and pushes the price to just below $65k. That package isn't even available on the Lexus.com configurator, for example.

So for all intents and purposes a loaded, lot found GS350 AWD is just under $60k. I would expect the IS to be $10k cheaper, so a loaded, lot found IS350 AWD to be just under $50k. Sure you might be able to special order a not commonly found package and get one thats $5k more...

You're not going to see an IS that gets anywhere near $60k unless its an IS-F. Just look at the pricing now, and look at 3GS pricing before the 4GS came out. A fully loaded IS350 AWD right now is $48,864. The 3IS isn't going to cost $10k more than the 2IS.

well it is not loaded if you dont have that 5k extra package :-)

Sure... it could be around 50k, if they dont have fully loaded model... it could be even less for F-Sport if they limit it as it sounds they will, but again, it doesnt have same options as GS then.

But thats the thing, for most buyers "loaded" is the best thing they can get off the lot.

The IS isn't going to have the same options as the GS, the GS is always going to be an upgrade car from the IS.

Not sure why so many people here are arguing over the $60k price point. There's a good reason why my takeaways in the OP included only calculations based on relative pricing of models in the same country. People in the US are lucky the enjoy the lowest prices of any car in the world due to the lowest car-related taxes. Even import cars sold in the US are priced much lower than they are in their home countries. One simply cannot estimate the 3IS's pricing by converting the Japanese pricing using exchange rates. Heck the GS350 F-Sport starts from 6.8M yens, which "converts" to $72,714, while the car's US pricing starts from a mere $52,940!

Again, never use exchange rates to compare/estimate pricing in two different countries. It never works that way.

Nobody is arguing...we're having an enjoyable discussion about where we think the pricing will be.

yeah... looking at top spec in UK (although UK sometimes limits options), i doubt it will be much more than 50k as there is no advanced pre-crash, radar cruise control for IS.

UK prices start the same as old prices for IS250... so that would be good. F-Sport is limited in some equipment so it seems to be priced similar to before as well.

Seriously, if this car goes over $50,000 It will lose a lot of the customer base. I'm speaking of normally loaded options like Nav, ML, Park Distance, Lux Pkg on a 350.
