I'm actually not a fan of the fog lights! I think the shape of the hole/vent/black insert makes the bulb look out of place.


And in those pics, the "grill" is not really a grill. It's a solid piece of plastic with a weave.

Ohh I was looking at the bumper/bar thing.

Thought the whole grill was a solid piece.

I'm for no fogs.
I wouldn't want to get rid of the ducts if they are functional aerodynamically. BMW doesn't have fogs in the US for some m-sport body kits to provide additional cooling, so their omission on a performance model isn't unheard of. Unlikely that there is an oil cooler tucked behind the f-sport ducts but they may serve to act like the BMW air curtains on the 1M. If the ducts are fake at least they look better than the flat plates on the GS4 f-sport.

someone can correct me but without the fogs, it's just a cover, not a duct. (there is already another air way for cooling the brakes) so that defeat your explanation

On the Lexus you are 100% correct...!!!

On the Bimmer it allows for an "Air Curtain" to form..
