Just picked up a 2018 IS 300 F-Sport. White with red interior (certified). 2 months a go I traded my 2017 NX in on a 2019
Porsche Maca S. Don't know why, been a Lexus guy (this is number 14) for 25 years. Regretted it after a week. Traded it for
the IS and couldn't be happier. Lost a ton on the 2 deals, but that's nothing new. Also have a 2017 GS 350 F-Sport, which I love.

Congrats on the car!
Perhaps it's the angle, but something looks off on the fitment of the caps. I have seen the caps in person and seam was much much tighter. On the bottom right by the turn signal light it appears that you have a huge gap there. It might be the picture though?

As someone who is a big fan of the Macan and considering getting one as a family car, what was the cause for your regret? I could see how it's not for everyone but honestly, it's a nice car to drive. So I am very curious.

Thanks I did see the outside color poll, I was just curious because I had been checking all the Lexus dealers in Southern California for an Iridium with red interior, ML with navi, DHP, moonroof and the triple beam headlights and finally found one in San Diego. My local dealer told me it would be 2 months before they would even know if they could get one allocated to them. Salesman in San Diego said it was the only one in the country being sold at the time with those specifications and I wanted an idea how rare each exterior/interior color combo with those options really are. But yeah, there’s a lot of variables!

no markup but they added the ceramic coating, he knocked off a good chunk so it was well worth it imo

Interesting. I had a deposit at San Diego many months ago for a ultrasonic blue and they said they never do markups or add-ons. I guess that was sort of true.

Lexus of San Diego is a Penske dealership, a salesperson from an Acura dealership also owned by Penske told me all Penske dealers do add ons. Idk if that’s true or she was just trying to justify the add ons.

Secured the wife's new car yesterday at Hendrick Charlotte, NC. It's on the boat headed this way.

• 2022 IS F-Sport 350
• Atomic Silver, black interior.
• Nav, Moonroof, Intuitive parking, Acc package.

After a few weeks they were able to meet our minimal option needs. Interesting times purchasing cars, very hard to negotiate below factory sticker.
