IS interior looks like blend of CT and GS, which it should...

and wussup with the L patterns on the seat? They got rid of the Lexus badges on the rear of the cars but can't let people forget its a lexus inside?
agree with that climate control should be buttons. but ! This car looks so amazing for me that no matter it is touch sensitive or not because even when touching does not work it is warm to sit in a such cool car ok ok.. I now.. I am a little maniac about this car and loose a little my mind thinking about practical things. I want it !

They missed a big improvement for the driver cockpit feel.
Instead of the staggered center console and Air Vent meet, they should have increased the angle/slope of the center console rising to meet the vent and made it a seamless 1 big hunking piece.

Is the red interior in the 3IS the same red or a different red as that in the 4GS? Or is that not known yet?

I don't think they are the same. The GS is more of a maroon red like the color it's called(Cabernet). I think the IS will be lighter and brighter. I like the red. The GS so hopefully I am wrong. It is not an in your face red.

The GS and IS red's have different names so they surely are different. As ntocamping said the IS seems more bright.

I just love the cabernet in our F-sport..

The Cabernet is a rust-red which has lots of brown tones in it. Looks like the IS leather is true red. Hopefully dark red and not the lipstick red they put in the Neiman Marcus SC430.

Only thing I don't like is the temp control. I was able to sit in and move it up and down.
But, could possibly show finger prints if used alot.

I agree, buttons are better in fact I'd like a rotary **** even better. I see this as a fingerprint magnet, oils from your fingers even worse I sure hope the material underneath repels this stuff. If not this will make the interior look gross after while.

I never eat in my car but I can see it now fast food grease in people used cars showing up on the slider controls. I also hope it doesn't scratch easily in this area it could be a problem with accidential fingernail scratches.

Anyone know if the clock and air vent surround is made from metal? In the GS this is carved out of a single hunk of aluminium from memory

If it's made of plastic this would bring the look and feel of the dash down considerably IMO
