Default Need second opinion before pulling the trigger

Hello first post here, crossposting this from Reddit to get some more opinions.

Hello, I'm currently in the market for a 2025 IS 350 F Sport RWD Iridium Exterior with Red Interior. I found a couple listings but the only problem is that they don't have ML or DHP and I can find a similarly priced 2024 one that's fully-loaded. I do like the power folding mirrors which is why I want a '25. I know the '26 has it too but not a fan of that refresh.

Current ones I'm considering:

Used (not from Lexus dealership): about 3k miles on it going for 47k before tax/title fees. This one has a small scratch on the front left side, but other than that it looks good.

L Certified with 300 miles for ~51k before tax/title which I may have a connect to help with the price.

My problem is that neither of these have ML or DHP, I do mostly freeway driving with not many winding roads and don't always listen to music but when I do I think I would regret not having the nicer system. I haven't heard it but I've rented a '23 without it and I wasn't impressed by the base system and my friend with his IS even told me to get one with ML, however they're rare to come by. (SoCal area)

For DHP does the AVS help when not in S+ mode? I read that it feels like a different car entirely. The one I rented did not have this either.

My question is are these ones worth the price or should I just be patient and hopefully a fully loaded 2025 one with my color combo shows up within a year or two? Am I missing out without ML + DHP? I know I would probably be happy with either but don't want to have that regret in the back of my mind. Coming from a Toyota Corolla.

I haven't contacted the Lexus dealer but the non-Lexus dealer got to 51k OTD, they tried calling me back this morning but I didn't answer yet waiting until the end of the month.

What do you guys think?

Edit: I guess what I'm trying to get at is should I consider buying either of these 2 vehicles at these prices or wait a year or two to see if a fully loaded 2025 shows up? If yes what price should I aim for? Is the first one a good deal? Can post links if you want but not trying to advertise it. Both vehicles have the larger screen, 360 cam, and triple beams just missing ML + DHP.

Seeing as I found a 2024 fully-loaded for a similar price + increase in gas prices I may wait until I find a fully loaded 2025 before I make my decision.

This feedback is based on my own experience of researching, searching, waiting for the right price, and finding the IS350 with the color scheme I comfortable with. Iridium is a good color. Interior—depends on preference. I am more of black interior person.

Fisrt IS350, 2025 Iridium/Black AWD fsport series 2. DHP, ML, etc, almost everything. Plus front PPF by dealer added on. OTD a little over $55K. No tax pay at dealer becuz of I am out state. Paid it at my home state. 800 miles away from home. Flew to the dealer and drove it home. Car had 250 miles—bite the bullet and brought it. Lexus rarely discount off ISes. Over $3K off of MSRP. It wasn’t for me. Not a fan of paying for high price of a brand new car—that’s just me.

2nd IS350, used 2024 Series 3, same color, all specs plus extra BBS wheels, dash cam and Fsport deal exhaust. Car had less than 6K in mileages. Used L-certified for $50,500. Original MSRP was over $62K—most expensive IS350 I have seen for these 2 years. The car did have a good amount of rock chips and a few bruises. I did most of the paint correction myself. It still show, but from a distance—not visible. Drove my trade vehicle to that dealership and finance the difference—650 miles each way road trip.

My recommendation is to wait until a 2025 IS350 with the Specs you want and at the price you comfortable with. Look for L-certified—peace of mind and free oil change for 2 years. Happy hunting! You will love this car.

Yellowness - I would agree with the post above. Making a compromise on something you want will only lead to buyer's remorse. I know I may be the minority but while you may not have warmed up to the 2026 yet, I suspect you will. That would be the route I would go but at the same time, I respect people's styling preference....But the interior is some nice!! But if you really want to get a pre-2026, get one with the features you want and do it right out of the gate.
