Last four year's of the Toasted Carmel interior option is very much the same as the new Palomino. Not sure why all of a sudden it's a stunning new color option.
From one recent youtube video, there is apparently some backfiring of the exhaust when letting off the throttle or shifting. Have not read any report of that in all the updates. It did sound pretty cool though.
Still not addressed: Why the mpg's have dropped one in the city and highway.
How many different colors are available for the ambient light strips?
Mentioned in the above Wind video, there is a camera setting that automatically shows the area around the vehicle when it comes to a stop. Can someone shed some more light on when that turns on, off, and what it exactly shows? Sounds like a Tesla feature.

 

From the Bros’s videos above it looks like CarPlay has a lot of studder/delay swiping screens with finger.

 

I keep forgetting about the Toasted Caramel - It was available for some non-F sport trims in Canada for a while but not with any of teh F sport here in Canada so I sort of forgot about that

 

You are right. It was only available on non-F-Sports in Canada and the U.S. So technically this is the first time a "beige" interior is being offered on an F-Sport trim. I like it a lot too and have been pushing Lexus to do this for many years. Just wish it was offered on the regular F-Sport trim and not only on the F-Sport design version.

If there’s a 350 f sport that changed from in transit with dates next week and now it changed to arriving soon. But I want the illuminated door sills and the black emblems can that be done at the dealer? I know they can at the port but it’s past that. Better to wait with one coming in with those options or have dealer do it?

Got to see my first 26 yesterday. It was Ultra White/Black. The front end looks way better in person than pics imo.

If the V8 was an option on the 26 model I would have traded my 24 in. That updated interior is great! I would have gone Cloudburst (again) with the Palomino interior.

 

I have been saying the same too! The interior is so much better!

 

Hmmmm...something seems off with the stance. Did they raise it up? Wheel gap looks way worse now.

 

^^^ I thought the same thing when I saw this red one in a previous video. I saw one in the at a close by dealership and the stance looked normal. I am not sure what is wrong with this particular unit but indeed, it looks like an AMC Eagle

 

Don't worry, if I waited a few months, I could have gotten the '22 IS 500 instead of the '21 IS 350! But I am happy with the IS 350. One thing you won't regret is at least the LFA inspired sliding tachometer. It's such a small thing to notice, but it will be missed.

I'm noticing now that the front of the new IS reminds me of the GR GT which I'm not totally against. That rear spoiler already lifting however...

 

I finally saw one IRL today. It basically just looks like the 2021 - 2025 models with a different front/rear and much better interior. Of course, I'm not trading 500 in for one because that would just be ludicrous.

 

I just installed the black emblems myself on 2026 IS 350 (ordered from dealer $65) and took about 5 minutes to put them on - super simple. I can not comment on illuminated door sills.
