Looking forward to some driving reviews and seeing if the body stiffening, steering rack changes and variable suspension updates make any notable difference in the driving dynamics.

 

I want to see the new larger screen in action and how it looks with CarPlay running. The menus are definitely different from last years.

 

I heard there is supposed to be a luxury option which includes a HUD. So far it is not showing up in the build configuration list. Maybe I’ll have to wait for 2027 for it to show up.

 

I'm going to order soon too. I've never bought a car that wasn't already on the lot before. can you still negotiate on price after putting down a deposit? This sounds like such a dumb question but I still feel the need to ask it lol

I feel that the IS has gotten more handsome and mature looking as it progresses. But I don’t like the new grill nor new interior. I plan on driving my car a few more years if it remains reliable.

It's the same damn interior from 2014. But it works.

They should have titled the navi screen more to the driver. It’s really after all a driver focused vehicle. It would have created a more driver focused experience. I mean does some of the other models have the screen tilted to the driver? I hate when the screen is just going plain straight when 98% of the time only the driver is looking at it.

 

i appreciate that. nice looking! thanks for the image, but that's the good angle that hasn't changed significantly since '14. it's primarily the appearance of the front that's deteriorated, in my opinion, and to a lesser degree the rear, from the great design they started with. but i certainly don't mean to disrespect anyone else's preferences. opinions are like bellybuttons - everyone has one, and that's why they make so many different makes and models of vehicles.

 

Well, my bellybutton thinks the side view was ruined when they changed the taillights. The ‘14 through whatever, had the downward pointed end of the taillight that followed a nice line all the way through the rear door. Now it’s all chopped up and makes no sense.

 

Put down a deposit yesterday on 2026 IS 350 F Sport wind exterior and red interior. Hopefully arrives in March... sooner the better. MSRP in Florida no dealer addons.

 

Congratulations! I put a deposit down on the same but in a infrared with black interior. I added some options like the handling package and ML speakers. I decided against the technology package because I'm not a fan of subscriptions but now I'm wondering if I should do it.
