Lightning to usb c Adapter for Apple CarPlay
Has anyone found a Lightning to usb c Adapter that works with Apple CarPlay. I tried two different adapters for the wife’s iphone17 without any luck. CarPlay wouldn’t initiate and the phone kept cycling like it was getting plugged in.
Thanks in advance,

Because the iphone 17 uses USBC. Just ensure that the cables you're inputting actually transfers data. Charging only cables wont initiate it. Youll also have to check in your settings to allow the device to communicate with the car via usb. Last check in settings>general>scroll down to carplay and allow it.

I just installed a wireless usb carplay into my 2022 RX350.
It seems to work well and is the least expensive method I’ve found.
I have to say “Hey, Siri” to initiate some iPhone commands.
I have used Spotify, messages and phone call so far, hands free.
FYI, the device in iPhone’s Bluetooth shows disconnected after the device is set up and working.
$16.99 from Amazon.
Looks like a thumb drive, black with CarPlay and CarPlay symbol in white on the top.
Cheers.

An important point to address here is that the car has to be able to display the Apple Car Play at all to be able to attempt the
