Default Lacking power from stand still

2018 IS300, 2.0T RWD. Like the title says, when trying to get on it from a full stop it’s VERY slow to accelerate, like a major lag when first applying throttle and no power once it starts to move. What gets me is it’s running super smooth, great MPGs, accelerates fine once moving like when passing on the highway, and no codes at all.
I blew out the air filter (already pretty new) and cleaned the MAF sensor which seemed to help slightly. Don’t really want to throw parts at it since there’s no other symptoms or clear source of the problem.
Any ideas?

2.0T

Unless this is a new problem, I’d say it’s the nature of the beast.
The IS is a heavy car for a 2.0 engine (I didn’t buy an IS250 because it didn’t perform well), and the ‘T’ has a lag as the RPMs increase.

I believe it’s a new problem, it’s the wife’s car and although I drive it often I don’t drive it daily. I always knew it was underpowered (I wasn’t happy with it, that’s why it’s hers) but I don’t recall it being this bad.
