Sorry if that has been asked before...

Just purchased a 2025 IS350 FSport Design - not the full FSport - and it doesn't come with the auto dimming mirror with Homelink.... I would like to add this mirror and swap it out with the basic factory one... I know the current mirror that was like the one on my 2021 IS300 can be purchased online for about $200... just the Gentex mirror I think.... is the wiring harness behind the mirror on the 2025 that I can plug the new mirror into? Does anyone know if it is simple plug and play swap out? Thanks for any advice or assistance!

 

I would suspect yes. Most manufacturers are not going to spec wiring looms based on equipped options. I’ve found this on other cars that had low spec mirrors, and I added upgraded mirrors without issue. (In the case of the review mirror, all those features are internal to the mirror, it just need power.)

I have the frameless mirror from an RCF but it's from the gen before that I want to sell. I am not 100% sure if the stems are different if you can get a pic to see?
