RIPP Coil packs for IS350
Take a look at my post 11 & 14, I never said there are 20hp gains. What I asked was were the Dyno's done vs the claims, stated here that - "due to no proven results".
Again for those who have no experience, don't understand Timing and KCLV, and have not use then to speak on them as I stated in my 1st my post. - Those Coils do work with Intake and Exhaust and/or other Mods. Unless you Dyno yourself it's a unknown what hp increase you will get. They would work best with Intake/Exhaust and a Tune.

RIPP claims 20-30hp gains. NO ONE (unless you do) has any proven gains on dyno or street pulls where this can be verified on upgraded coilpacks for the 2GR.
RR Racing has said multiple times on many posts in these FB groups that they are waste of money. I am sure if they were proven gains out of this, RR would without a doubt be pushing to sell it.
I agree with you but think you are missing the point here.

RR said? Ok. Again can you link me to a substance Dyno on the 2GR you or RR did? To give advise? The op asked in the 1st post - "I would like to find out if someone has purchased these for their car or truck and get some feedback on them".
No, you finally got my point, without the stretch. NO ONE asked about 20-30 gains you are obsessed about bringing up over, and over, and over again so move on already.

To further add, look in the Tacoma forums (many threads on this) where more people have used them - 90% members are NOT recommending these coils due to no performance gains, limp mode, CELs, etc. 100's of members who have purchased them and went back to OEM coilpacks. If you are questioning whether or not to buy these after reading those threads then you should try it out for yourself.
If you are advocating for these upgraded coilpacks - please share us your dyno graph and dragy pulls where these are providing 20-30 gains. You and I both know the 20-30whp claims are false - even if Loi or D3 are tuning cars with "upgraded coilpacks" for advertisement. BTW - Loi is a US Dealer for one the upgraded coilpack brands so i am sure you can put two and two together.
Many forced induction cars that are FBO like M3s, GTRs, etc are still running OEM coilpacks even with upgraded turbos because there are little to no gains from upgraded coilpacks.
@RRRacing has tuned more 2GR-FSE's out there. Feel free to chime in on why you guys aren't selling these upgraded coilpacks.

Can you point to the above where they mention Dyno, 20-30hp claims, Where is Dyno, Tacoma, advocating, where I said I Dyno'd them, where I said the 20-30hp was valid. Please don't spin the statements I made. None of those you mentioned did I, even by your stretch.
Personally I don't really believe 99% of any sites hp gains, this I mentioned Zero about it. I won't even begin to mention RR, (because you choose their products) and what you may not know about Tunes and the Loi Tune and D3 I referred to. If you have problems with what I said about how the coils can work, and with what Mods. I can't change what you think. Just don't keep, Dyno, 20-30 claims, blah, blah, blah. Read the op's post questions, and read my post. Then respond to what I said, not what I did not on the Dyno 20-30h website blah, blah obsessions. I think you and others have made your 20-30hp Dyno point. Already.
If you still have problems why not give Ripp a call. Let me know when you have.Someone other than myself, and the op linked the Ripp site, and some of you just lost your minds. lol!

Now, I run many Mods and the Accel Coils. I love them. I actually have a Brand new set of the Ripp coils and plan to install and test one day. Being you keep talking Dyno, Dyno, Dyno, do you have one proving anything at all, or any other than stock coils to speak on any experience using?

JNP1227, I think you don't understand my responses to the op's post. Do you see the key things he asked I responded to?

RIPP is advertising 20- 30 gains and you mentioned these coils "work" in your previous post though you haven't installed them? You are advocating for these coils stating "they do work" and are running other upgraded coil packs but still haven't shared proof with dragy times or dyno graphs which show us if any gains come. Please enlighten the rest of us.
Like I said before I am not running these coils and nor is majority on this forum running these RIPP coils including yourself. I follow the 3IS FB groups quite closely where many folks who have tried these reverted back to stock due to issues (many of those folks who are not running RR Tune). People who used them on Tacoma's also shared more negative than positive experiences. A simple google search will show you or do I need to link the threads? I don't need someone to show me a a dyno graph to "prove" that more people have bad experiences with them or didn't yield what was advertised.
For what it is worth, Tuned by Loi is a retailer for High Spark Ignition Coil Japan which cost $800 - double the price of these RIPP ones. He also advised against RIPP ones because they seem to fail. To spend $800 on his coilpacks and $1000+ on his tune to yield nearly the same power as all other tuners seems absurd to me. If you don't believe me, grab some popcorn and search the FB forums and have a good laugh.
At the end of the day do what you want with your $$$, just sharing additional information that is not available here on CL for OP.

You can insist all day that I provide you a Dyno, or Draggy. I saw the results of multiple mods installed correctly, more where it counts on the street. I see you have a bug about Loi, and you seem to buy into everything RR Racing. Wish you knew the full story. It's not like some other companies have not put out products themselves that failed. I think you should gain some experience with Coils and the results of KCLV effects and combustion chamber complete burn results. Ripp redesigned those coil a while back. But you knew that correct? Also don't believe everything you see on the internet, when you have Zero experience using yourself. The Tune you have has failed on some cars. It possibly was the condition of the motor, but does that mean because some had problems your $800 Tune you bought and installed is a piece of crap?
Again I suggest you call Ripp, and please stop Trolling me. I never once responded directly to you, or pressed you that my opinion was the last word like you are, before you directly obsessively started the 20-30hp dyno blah, blah, blah direct replies to me. Relax already and, Let me know what you found out when you call Ripp. lol!
Waste of money.
