Default Thoughts on EBC vs StopTech Rotors?

Deciding between these two for front rotors, but it seems StopTech is nearly twice the price for a pair. Any thoughts if they are worth that much more? Or should I just go with the EBC? I prefer the dimples on the EBC anyway

thanks!

Picture of the EBC rotors looks like a render can't see what it really looks like. I have a set of StopTech's just like pictured they are good quality except they do rust in the grooves especially if you don't drive the car much.

Yeah I’m not sure why that site has a render. Here are the actual rotors

For IS, (and other cars) my personal recommendation is Meyle HD blanks or Brembo blanks (both which ive had on IS and they were great).

When you start jiving around with stop tech, ebc, drilled this and that, you run into compatibility issues and deposit formation. i used to build track & canyon car suspension and brakes (from scratch) and have a lot of bad experience with those brands. lots of headaches.

for street cars, i absolutely recommend OE, OEM, or high quality aftermarket blanks. never drilled on a car that doesn't come with drilled.

Not a fan of painted rotors the finish doesn't hold up as well vs. zinc coated.

I used to think this until I tried zinc coated rotors that are drilled/slotted now I won't bother with OEM blanks that rust and frankly are nothing special.
