Hey everyone so, I just bought a 2014 AWD IS250 and immediately bought new wheels and tires for it, completely out of impulse and with little to no research. I went with 225/40r19 on the front and 265/30r19 on the rear. I got 19x8.5 wheels on the front and 19x.9.5 on the rear, I'm also on RSR Super Downs. I already noticed the car vibrates when rolling from idle so the AWD clearly doesn't like this setup. I'm regretting not doing enough research and ended up finding out that a staggered setup like this for my car is not recommended. I was just hoping somebody could point me in the right direction in terms of correcting this issue. I don't know jack about tire sizes or why they would cause the AWD system to act up. I would appreciate someone's help so I can maybe get these tires switched out for different ones ASAP before I cause any major damage. Your front tires are taller than your rear tires, upsetting the AWD system. Go to tiresize.com and plug in values to get something better (e.g. a 205/40R19 on the front would be close to the rear you purchased).
So either lower the front, or raise the rear (or do both), just get closer diameter numbers.

 

If you like the way the width of the tires look on those rim widths 225/35/19 would have been the correct tire. Also, I don’t have a lot of AWD. Experience, but I would make sure the tires are properly dynamic balanced. We are also assuming that the tires are new, right?

 

Get the rite tires for the front and did you get hub ring for the rims?
