Hi All! !I have a 16 IS200t. Been a great car but started a weird issue. Can not find any information online to help. Every time you come to a stop after driving for 10-20 minutes the engine will make a weird diesel like sound. Only does this when engine is at operating temp and only when the rpms settle at a stop. Seems to be coming from the front of valve cover area? Ever experience anything like this? No lights, oil pressure is good and fresh oil. Runs great

mo lights at all and runs fine.

 

Completely different platform but my old IS 350 used to do that too from 50k - 110k miles it made that sound when driving around. I could hear it the most at low speeds with my music down. Car ran great, no issues at all, never really burned oil. I wouldn't worry about it if everything else is running great. My current GS 350 makes a bunch of weird noises. I feel like my Lexus do tbh.

 

Sounds like something is rattling.
