Default Abs and traction warning lights on.

Hello everyone. I own a 2015 Lexus IS250 RWD, and occasionally the ABS and traction control lights come on while I am driving. I visited my mechanic, who diagnosed the issue and suggested replacing the gas pedal. Since following this advice, the ABS and warning lights have been less frequent but still come on occasionally. I am unsure if it is safe to continue driving in this condition and would like to know how to resolve the issue. Should I consider purchasing a new car at this point? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you had your battery checked? Sorry if it seems like an obvious question, but you didn't mention it. So, it would be good to be sure.

I believe the code description for C1430 in that scan tool is slightly confusing. I checked service data and found the following description for that code:

The brake pedal load sensing switch is built into the brake pedal support assembly (and is different from the stop light switch):

Hope this helps!

Does it mean that I only need to replace the brake pedal support assembly to resolve this C1430 warning code?

Before changing any parts it would be worth checking the attached procedure. Was there any work done in that area around the pedals when you first encountered this issue?
