Default Teschstream V18 Wireless Code Registration Work Around

I have a 2014 IS250.

I was experiencing the intermittent door lockproblem so I switched out my Interior Fuse box / Junction fuse box(p/n 82730-53J30). After switching, my key fobs still work OK to start the car, but they are not recognized by the keyless entry system (no response when pressing lock/unlock buttons or using the door handle).

I downloaded and installed Techstream V18.00.008 and can access the Main ECU but when I go into the Utility settings, there is no "Wirelss Code Registration" option. After Googling, this appears to be a
known bug. The workaround says "Disconnect from the vehicle long enough to allow remote communication to finish. Reconnect at a later time to check for availability of Utility" but I cannot figure out what this means. I've tried plugging/unplugging the cable, waiting and refreshing the Utility screen but to no avail.

I also tried downloading and installing Techstream V17 and the "Wireless Code Registration" option is not there either (V17 also has issues because it was discontinued in August 2023 so the only way I could use it was to change my system date prior to Aug 2023).

Does anybody know how to get the Wireless Code Registration workaround to show up?

Update - This apparently is not just a problem in V18. I have installed both V17 and V16 and in every version of TechStream when I go into the Main Body / Utility screen there is no option for "Wireless Code Registration" or "Wireless Code Erasure".

I was able to go into the Smart Key / Communication Check screen and the Wireless Door Lock Diagnosis Mode and I confirmed that both of my wireless fobs were receiving the lock/unlock/trunk button pushes but my door locks will still not respond to the keyless entry or the button push on the fob.

I don't want to do a Smart Code Reset for fear that the ignition key will stop responding to the fobs.

Does anybody have any suggestions of what I am missing? Any other screens to check? I can post the Smart Key Data List if somebody knows what to look for there.

Thanks for looking....

I loath Techstream it has given me nothing but trouble. I don't have a solution for you hopefully someone else does.

Ditch Techstream for stuff like this and get a legit bidirectional scanner.
