Hail damage repair project
Hi everyone, I have an interesting project that I’m planning to take up when I have some more time with a car that I picked up. It’s a 2015 IS350 and it has some hail damage to multiple body panels. I want to work on repairing the hail damage myself, but I don’t have the Paintless dent repair tools that would be used to make hail damage repairs. So what I’d like to do is to remove body panels and work out the hail damage myself. Most of the hail damage dents are large - roughly 1 to 2 inches in diameter. So what I’d like to do is remove these panels myself and try and work out as many dents as I can and see how far I get.
So my question to you all is does anybody know how to remove most of the body panels on this car or have instructions or diagrams that will be useful to remove the body panels. I suppose I could easily remove the trunk lid and the hood myself but I might run into some issues removing the roof quarter panels, pillars, and roof. I’m in no rush and want to spend as little as possible to complete this. I’m also open to purchasing/borrowing tools to reach dents on panels I can’t remove.
Thanks
