Default Safety Recall Campaign #XGG71

hey all,

received a letter today from Lexus (i live in australia) in regards to an urgent safety related recall, wondering if anyone else got a letter?

its in regards to the fuel evaporative emission control unit design that may fail to release fuel vapor into the atmosphere which means over time can cause stress related cracks and eventually fuel leaks.

damn had the car for over 3 years now... hope there arent any cracks

Hello,
I have had the same recall done this year in March. I'm in Europe, Romania.
They will dismantle the back seats and change an item on the fuel tank. Don't worry, all should be fine afterwards, no fuel smell etc
The operation took about 2 hours altogether with service checkin etc.
I strongly suggest that you do this, it's a safety thing. Better safe than sorry.

All the best
