I ordered a pair of Strong Arm hood struts for my 2014 IS250 from Rock Auto. When they finally came they sent me two struts that were packaged as part 6797 but they were two different lengths? I guess all the reviews for Strong Arm are true, they have terrible quality control. One was 20in and the other 18. Interestingly the original oem factory ones were longer than 18".

Can anyone recommend a good hood strut brand?

 

Maybe stick with OEM? Part numbers look to be 5344053020 (right) and 5345053010 (left).
