2021 IS300 (Daily)
Hey Everyone,
New here and actually new to Japanese cars as a whole and excited. Just picked up a 2021 base IS300 (2.0t) to serve as a reliable daily. I come from the German side and have an Audi for the weekends that I have tastefully built over the last few years. I love my Lexus so far but the stock tune seems so pedestrian on these 2.0t's. Does anyone know if there are tunes available that will open her up a little more? I live in California so physical mods are impossible to get and as far as I know there are zero CARB legal Cold Air Intakes (so if anyone knows of one that I just missed would love that input as well). I already have to get "smogged" in the Audi and I do not want to spend the extra for the Lexus either.
Anyway, I am mainly looking for a tune that will help with throttle response and open it up a little more (would love in conjunction with a CAI). I know these things tend to take years and they may not even be possible with these newer lexus's since I know they do over the air updates but I figure I would ask. Anyway, happy to be here and can't wait to collab with everyone.

Wrap, new wheels, chrome delete trim

Love our 23 IS, reminds me of a mix between an E39 and an E46 BMW from the early 2000s. We also have a 2023 ES but the IS is what I grab every time if both are in the driveway.

Look up "Tuned by Loi," he specializes in Toyota and Lexus tunes and is located in Cali. Not sure if he is able to do the newer models though. Also don't expect crazy numbers, our cars are not tuner friendly. Maybe what you're after is a throttle controller to help with that lag.
