My IS has the premium Mark Levinson system, and while it sounds great, it lacks deep bass (I built my systems in my other cars). Not looking for the obnoxious booming, just a little more bottom end. Is there an easy way to add a powered sub to assist the factory system?

The Mark Levinson system has a sub. Do you think the sub is not working? I have always found the bass to be quite good with my ML systems I've owned in 3ISes.

it is definitely working. It's just that my frame of reference is pretty high. Just looking for a little more oomph. The imaging is great, and the midst and highs are impressive
I had a 400 watt Pioneer sub, went to 300 watt Kicker after it stopped working.. when the seats go up, you can barely feel the bass. I just recently got a 10" Alpine Type S, decent size box, 600 watt dual voice coil speaker at 2 ohms, paired with a Pioneer amplifier & LC2i. Sounds absolutely amazing which you can completely control from the head unit bass control.

that sounds perfect. I'm not looking to rattle the neighborhood. But I like to feel the base in the car.
How did you wire it. Power from the battery should be simple. But how do you connect it to the head unit?
