Trouble with rim fitting
Hi all, I’m a new Lexus owner. Not totally a car guy, but I recently got rims and tires as a gift for my 21 IS300 F, however the bolt holes don’t line up.
the rims in question are 18x9.5 et38. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3.
is this just a skill issue? Am I just not putting it on correctly? Sorry if I sound stupid, if there’s any other info im missing out I can provide really love the rims and hoping I don’t have to sell them.

IDK what the bolt pattern is supposed to be, but every time I’ve taken wheels off a car it’s been obvious and simple to line them up and put the wheel back on the hub
maybe get a piece of paper and mark where the holes are on your new wheel, and place it next to the hub or old wheels and see if the holes line up?
also the 21s and later have lug bolts instead of nuts, there’s a little peg tool you can use to make it easier to “hang” the wheel on one bolt and position it to get the second one in. Can’t remember name of tool but it’s cheap, used it on BMWs before when I was in a car club and we’d do jobs in our driveways.
