Lexus advised buy new Radio for $4600.

was told it’s a Panasonic radio
my car has only 46,000 miles.
the new SD card I purchased for $210 did not work.

on occasion, with the new SD card, the screen works for 10 minutes with blue tooth, navigation, radio etc.

please help!

was advised to have a mobile mechanic refurbish radio. His rate is $150 an hour plus the cost of refurbishing the Panasonic
radio.

Curse of 2014 again... if somebody can fix it let us know....

 

Does anyone know if you upgrade to an android/ apple carplay unit does this resolve the black screen issue or prevent it due to the interface?

I am not tech guy buy any means and could be a stupid question lol but I am curious

 

Is this a common issue for the 2014 model? I've read about the sound going out but not this.
