Default Ecm location

I have a 2006 Lexus is250. I had got it diagnosed and was told that I have an internal ecm (Electrical Control Module) wiring shortage causing a broken passenger headlight. I was wondering where my ecm is located and how may I fix that wire shortage?

There are several modules responsible for lighting. The ECM is not one of them.

The two that come to mind are the BCM (Body Control Module) and the forward lighting module.

That said, I doubt either of them are responsible for a single headlight failure.

How about some history of repairs, accidents, and tell us if this is HID or incandescent halogen? What all has been done? Have the fuse and relay for that light been inspected?

How long did your mechanic spend looking at this issue?
