I was working under the hood of my 09 350 and noticed this sticker on it and was wondering if anyone on CL knew what this is for.

 

since it's done at dealerships u can probably search it up on lexus' website or at your local dealer, looks like something have to do w/ emissions

Lexus tech here. There was a modification done to one of the bigger parts or bigger systems if you will of the car. Generally and 8 out 10 times we slap those on when the car is under warranty on iously and the customer upgraded the exhaust. I am willing to bet you aren't the first owner. If not more than likely then we get work orders to take the modified exhaust off and put the stock one back on before they customer would sell it. If you are the first owner then I do have a few other systems that require that sticker to be put on but make sure the the exhaust hangers are in good condition under the car however I would bet the car had an exhaust.
