Is250 electric problems
So my alternator broke and i got a new one installed. After that i got check vsc thing pop up. It went away by checking the codes and clearing them, but it came back soon after.
Now the battery light keeps flashing when the engine is warm, doesn't happen cold. And today it did a weird thing: the battery light came on and didn't flash, for some time i couldn't turn off the cruise control, then suddenly headlights started flickering and the sound from the stereo started cutting out. That happened for like few seconds and then worked normally again.
Any idea where the problem is?
Fusebox has been cleaned, some ground wires and spots has been cleaned and replaced in the engine room.
What to do next?

Where was the alternator from?
Usually when electrical gremlins pop up after changing the alternator, a good chance is that the alternator is a bad one right out of the box, and needs to be swapped again.
I couldn't tell you how many times i got bad alternators right out of the box, and had various other issues. I had an 89' Land cruiser once, and got a remanufactured alternator for O'Reilly auto parts, and upon starting the engine, all the dash lights when crazy and the amperage needle on the dash just pulsing between 10, and 18+ volts.
Once I learned more about how bad some of these remain units are, I started ordering the Denso branded rebuilds, and so far they seem to be treating me right and fuctioning properly. 😳🤞
Did you put the new one is, or was it a mechanic?
