You had to replace all 4 cam sensors? These very basic sensors, i can't imagin all 4 failing or even 1 for that matter. It's almost always the wires to them that get damaged vs the sensor.

I wouldn't replace the crank sensor on a whim.

Please provide part numbers for the original and "uprated" ones.

 

I will try to do that but if you stop by your local delaership and use the snap on parts catalog on the computer we use you can rest assured knowing the updated part is the only one available.

 

It's going back in the car today. My mother passed away and my son was born a few months ago so everything was put on pause and life was crazy for awhile. Still is. Mom's are really something. Not enough credit for what they do. So because of all that I pushed the engine and tranny in the garage closet and said not now. Not enough time. But today that changes. I'm getting ready to go out and throw it in really quick.
