Hi guys.I just bought 2012 OEM led headlights(they will be here by the end of this week) and I really like the help of an expert to install them.I read a lot of discussions about this subject and I m confused since I m not so expert on the electronics. My first question is how can I tell if I have DRL right now?I have a 06 IS with AFS.Do I need to repin the new headlights?
I read about the need of a relay in order to be able to have 50% or 100% brightness when the headlights are both leds and high beam on.
I m sure many of you have done it and can help me out.
Thank you in advance
I haven't read up on the headlights again since I did my mod last time. So some of what I recall might not be right.
All the cars have DRL. Some are LED strip, and some are just high beam at 50% power. The main functions of the 2012 headlights should just work without any re-pin, but you might need to do it for LED strip or something like that.
So the headlights are here.I read that i have to use one relay for every headlight in order to have them work like OEM.Csn anyone help with pictures or i should go to an expert?
A lot of you did it but i m not so good with these electrical stuff.Pictures would be nice if they are any
