I need to get a new Lexus and currently have the 2006 Lexus is250 and kind of just wanted to get the same generation but newer and maybe in a 350 or F sport this time. I was wondering if for the models that have no backup camera and center console screen if you could just switch it with another IS that has the back up camera and screen. Would it be easy? and does it have the same dimensions?

 

So are you talking about swapping a non navigation IS to a Navi setup?

 

Yes I'm talking about switching the non-navigation to the navigation one. On top of installing the backup camera.
