Hi, a 2009 I am assessing has a the attached Torsen LSD. Someone tells me it’s a 48J and open and strange it’s no a 58J. And that with the 48J it should have the centre changed. Any general feedback or concerns here? Cheers

 

You got yourself a finned case with the wrong gear ratio and no LSD with 48J.

If you want a finned case and LSD, you want a 2GJ (Finned 2.937 ratio w Torsen LSD from RC-F) or 58J.

Edit- IS-F use or 350?

You will be going deep to swap the gears doing a complete setup from scratch to get the 4.08 assuming that is what you desire.

 

Thanks heaps. Didn’t go for it. It has LSD internals and a random home job with other issues
