Default 2010 Enform Update

I have a 2010 IS250C and would like to update the Enform software. How far out can I update and what new features if any does it provide? I at least would like to update the maps in the navigation app.
TIA

2010 was the introductory year for Lexus Safety Connect and Enform. All 2017 and previous years will lose the
3G telephone signals required to use on 10/31/2022 and cease to function.

Your 2010 IS-C uses the Generation 6 system with Nav Data on a DVD. Go to:
https://lexus2.custhelp.com/app/answ...8258/related/1 for FAQ's regarding
purchasing an updated disc.

This update will have newer Points of Interest and roads but does not change the screen appearance,
processor speeds or voice recognition abilities. Playing a new album on your high school stereo does
not improve the speakers...

mcomer is right, but be aware that Toyota/Lexus no longer supports the Gen 6 hardware with annual map updates. The last update available for purchase is version 18.1, which has a map and point-of-interest database sourced in 2018.

All, with a few button presses you can gain info about your components....

The touch screen will go into a new mode offering options for equipment versions, hardware versions and diagnostic features.

You will also find settings for mic input and bluetooth volumes. Could be helpful if someone can't hear you. Here are some crappy pictures. Units with Nav will have more options.Turn the key off when done.
