Hey guys, my 2010 is250 is in need of new tail lights. I’ve found some tinted ones that have been fitted on a 2005 model. Is it compatible with my model or do I need extra stuff?

 

These is NO such thing as a 2005 IS250. Are you sure it's a 2005? Not a 2006?
The 2nd Gen IS250/350 were only produced 2006-2013. With that being said, any 2006-2013 Tail lights will be a direct bolt between any year 2nd Gen IS. Just minimal difference on the light configuration (reverse, signal, brake).

 

I believe this is incorrect. iirc, some markets had the car released early (Notably NZ and JP).

Regardless, it's the same car as the 06-08 models. I believe the OP would need the 06-08 harness. I know when I swapped my 08 tails to 11's, I needed the harness.

 

Weird cause I have a 09 (same as 2010) and I've have had the stock lights, 2007 lights, 2012 lights and now Vlands on my car with no problems or mods.
