Default How common are engine/trans mounts going out?

Hi, sometimes I feel this weird slight vibration through the gas pedal when casually accelerating from a stop with the flow of traffic. Sometimes it feels clunky when shifting from drive to reverse, etc.

Also, a few weeks ago, probably the last time we had some rain, all the droplets were beaded up on the hood (from wax) and I started the car to warm up while I checked the mail. As I'm walking back towards the car I notice every beaded up drop of rain is just shimmering with vibration in the bright sunlight.

I bought the car at the end of March, exactly 100k, adult owned, most dealer maintained. Does this sound like a mount? I did some googling on my phone after the shimmering and came across a posting somewhere (can't find it now) and a fellow replaced a trans mount and bearing carrier or something and that fixed his vibrations.

Could be the engine/trans mounts, the only way to know is to check them or have a mechanic check them. A visual check will tell you if they are bad. Could also be you need to service the auto trans by swapping the fluid. A few months ago I swapped out the fluid (had to do it twice) on my 2010 IS350 Sport at 68K and now she shifts smooth as butter. I have 144K on my 2013 Sienna and mounts are all still good, on my daughters 2006 Camry SE with 156K I am about to change the top mount. It's still good but worn
