Default Farewell 2is friends.

The time has unfortunately come. Bought an 06 is250 over 12 years ago with 94k miles for a steal of a deal at $12k. Driven it up to a couple days ago when I ate a truck sandwich while heading home from work. Car ended up with 210k miles and aside from a transmission change at about 110k miles the car has been trouble free. Just regular maintenance. Finally changed the water pump last month for preventative measures thatwent to waste.

extremely sad to see her go as I put so much work in the audio part of her and it has been a pleasure to drive since day one. The 3 way front stage in the car was amazing and the imaging due to speaker placement was great. Definitely recommend sway bars at a minimum, upgraded bushings on them a plus. And also upgraded LCA bushings made it better too. this kept it fun every time coming on and off the freeways and on twisty roads. Always gave her a good redline when I got on freeways to keep the carbon from building up and never had that issue.

glad to say she kept me safe in all 3 accidents I’ve had with her, none of which were my fault. This one unfortunately is not repairable.

time to move on to an ISF or 4GS!

farewell 2is forum.

Good to stick with another lexus! Things happen and its important that your safe and alive, its a good thing that the 250 kept you safe during this incident. Good luck on your next lexus purchase.

Glad your safe dude! Cars are replaceable, people aren't. Replace her with a 4th Gen GSF and you'll never need another car again...unless this happens.BTW, what freeway is that? I'm heading to SoCal (from San Jose) on Monday, taking my IS350 Sport!
