Hi guys. Over Christmas I parked my 2006 is350 in our garage, unfortunately somehow rats made a nest, they in the meantime chewed through my knock sensor harness, and broke 2 injectors.
I have now replaced the harness, injectors, and spark plugs, prior to this the car had no issues.

I have now put everything back together, and the car is not running right. I’ve had several different codes including, p1071, p1074, p300, p303, p305. I know what all these mean and used my scanner and did some research. I know these codes refer to vacuum leaks and misfires on cylinders 3&5. I changed out 2 of the new spark plugs to the old and cleared the misfire code and that is okay now. Upon start up the car revs to 2k rpm or higher, which is a little abnormal, the car won’t allow itself to rev under 1100rpm even while warm. Driving the car is normal until you attempt to come to a stop, when it is in 1st gear and slowing down the car will drop revs down to 500 and then go back up to the 1100 when you come to a complete stop.

I have sprayed in several locations around the plenum, throttle body, and hoses and I’m having a really hard time finding any leaking hoses. I’m hoping someone on here can offer me some insight on where else I could potentially look for leaks, or if anyone has any idea on what else it could be, thanks in advance.

 

Did you change the plugs and injectors yourself or someone else?

 

I would say first get rid of those rats from your garage LOL!
