ok, now that I've installed the awwwwwwesome F-Sport exhaust, what do I do with my old exhaust??......should I keep my old exhaust @2013FSport @redspencer ?? (in case I want to sell the car I can put back the stock exhaust or god forbid sell the F-Sport Exhaust)......the old exhaust seems huge but I can hang it on the wall of my condo's 1 car garage if need be.......did you guys keep your old exhaust? or maybe I can sell the old exhaust??......what should I do??

It depends on if you plan on keeping your IS350 for the short-term or long-term. As I plan on keeping mine till I run it to the ground, I got rid of my stock exhaust. If you think you'll sell your IS350 within the next few years, it might be best to keep the stock exhaust and sell your F-Sport Exhaust separately as these parts are getting harder to obtain and their desirability remains the same being OEM+ parts.

thanks for your input @redspencer .....I appreciate it......I tend to "go through cars" as I get bored and move on to something else.......Prior to this Lexus I had the 2006 IS350 which I just gave my son.......and before that I had an USB 2015 RCF....and before that I had a 2014 Lexus GS350.......all of these within the past few years........but this one is super nice (Now!...LOL).....and I can't beat the looks versus performance versus cost versus reliability.......and it's paid for!!......so yeah, I'll probably keep it for a while......and I looked on E-Bay and used EOM exhausts like the one I just took off sell for about $400.....so it doesn't have any crazy value......and storage is a big problem!......so yeah, I'll probably tell the mechanic to junk it.......or maybe have him list it on CL and split the profit 50/50 (if he's willing).....
If the F-Sport exhaust is working out for you, than I would probably sell the stock exhaust. I'm sure you could get about $100 in your pocket for it

I do the opposite, I hold on to a car (or pass it down) until it starts giving me problems that are going to cost me more than the car is worth. With Toyota and Lexus, that could be 200K plus. Case in point, my first Toyota, a 1995 Corolla LE stayed with the family until 2016, and had about 230K on it. The body was falling apart but the engine was still running strong LOL. I did buy a 2018 Honda Civic Si to replace my 2006 Camry SE (3.3L V6) that I gave to my daughter when she started college and sold it after a year and 3 months only because degenerative disk disease (not as bad as it sounds LOL) made driving a stick daily a task, the car wasn't very comfortable, and it just wasn't the car for me. I ended up buying a one owner very clean 2010 IS350 Sport with 52K miles on it for $19K and selling my Si the next day for $21K (I paid roughly $23K and some change OTD), so it was almost an even exchange. And I got so much more car with the IS350, which is the car I should have bought in the first place (that or a Camry XSE).

Thanks for sharing@AMIRZA786 ....the more I drive this car and the more I look at how bad a$$ it is, the more I realize that it's the perfect combo of fun weekend car and reliable, affordable fun.....makes me smile.......anyway, probably not worth my time trying to sell the oem exhaust so I'll jut tell the mechanic to junk it or if he wants to sell it then he can keep the $$......he's been hooking my up on lots of stuff for years so maybe it'll benefit him and he can keep giving me awesome deals and service on my cars!
Lexus is a car you buy used. A 10 year old Lexus that was properly taken care of will give you at least 10 more years. I'll probably give it to my son next year when he turns 18 and pick up a 4th gen 2016 or 2017 GS350 F-Sport or GSF

O/T but anyone with a 2017 Highlander is likely faced with a poor lighting. Using the code above, I bought these. Hopefully they improve the situation and last long enough to warrant the expense. If anyone has experience with these products (below), please chime in. From: 2017 Highlander low beam lighting stinks, known good upgrades?
I ordered LED's for both the low beam 9005 and the fog lights H16 (which are super low wattage at just 19 watts). The bulbs are not here or installed so no comments on effectiveness just yet.
FOGLIGHTS:
Bulb is Halogen H16
H16 = Japan-style - 90* base (not PSX19 or PSX24), H8 / H9 / H11 / H16 sockets will all fit one another but vary by wattage.
Replacement LED:
PN: XD.LED140, 5000K
Name: H11 CMB LED
$39 a pair. Intended as Fog light only, but may have other uses.
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/H1...XT-LED-H11-CMB
LOW BEAM:
Bulb is Halogen 9005
Replacement LED:
PN: SN.LED143
Name: 9005/9145/H10: GTR CSP Mini LED
$134 a pair. Intended as Fog light only, but may have other uses.
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/90...-mini-PF1.9005
Lumens = 2500 (Stock 9005 ~ 1000)
I'll update again once installed.
